At 80 gigapixels, this 360 degree panorama of London is a world record holder

Jeffrey Martin took 7886 individual high-resolution shots of London, stitching them together into a single image using a computer comprising of 6 dual-core CPUs, 192GB of RAM to create a panorama of London with a total resolution of 80 gigapixels. This makes it the largest panoramic photo in the world.

Photos were taken from the top of the Centre Point building, capturing a huge number of landmarks, houses, streets and buses, and if printed, this staggering panorama would measure 35 metres long and 17 metres tall.
