The Steve Jobs biopic succinctly titled ‘Jobs’ took just $6.7 million on its first weekend in the US and Canada despite reportedly being widely shown.
However, while no one likes bad news, the movie was pulled together on a relative shoestring in around a year. According to the Wall Street Journal, it only cost around $12 million to produce.
Meanwhile, it seems Rotten Tomatoes users aren’t the only ones to have found the Jobs movie a little lacking. Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, took to Gizmodo to let his thoughts be known about the movie:
“I saw Jobs tonight. I thought the acting throughout was good. I was attentive and entertained but not greatly enough to recommend the movie. One friend who is in the movie said he didn’t want to watch fiction so he wasn’t interested in seeing it.”
