To those of you who weren’t amongst the lucky many who attended Arabnet 2010 this year, as I sadly wasn’t able to you should clear the 25-26 of March 2011 from now and start following their events beginning with this month’s Arabnet ‘Beirut Workshop’.
Arabnet which launched it’s first event during March aimed to bring together the Internet community to network and help launch the hottest startups from across the region. And it’s safe to say, they passed with flying colors.
The guys n’ gals from Arabnet have set up a workshop titled Speed Up Your Startup, to help basically help entrepreneurs turn their ideas into Lebanese businesses with the help of consultants from local and global experts available in Beirut.
Their also going to start sending out their ‘Arabnet Digest‘ covering topics covering everything Web related that’ll curated by regional Editors and writers from the industry and beyond.
The workshop will be scheduled alongside the US-Lebanon ICT Forum on Oct 14-15 at BIEL the American Embassy in Lebanon is hosting. The forum will showcase 60 companies active in the ICT sector, and will feature a series of seminars about trends in the technology and communications sector.
Check them out, or read up about the previous event we covered here. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you there next year.
