Yes, the wait is over – after a couple of hours downtime Apple’s online store is back with OSX Snow Leopard up and ready to order for a low, low price of $29 (or equivalent for your country). It ships this Friday. You’ll no doubt be able to pick up a copy in your local bricks-and-mortar Apple store on Friday too.
With lots of tweaks and under-the-hood improvements it’s definitely worth the entry price. Those of you who get through hard disk space like water will be particularly grateful of the 6GB that the install frees up.
