Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are now available for pre-order in an initial 9 countries

Apple’s new 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus are now available for pre-order for customers based in the US, UK, France, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and Japan. The devices will ship on September 19, and are due to go on sale in a number of second tier markets from September 26, as 9to5mac notes.

Unlocked, the iPhone 6 will cost $649 for a 16GB model, $749 for a 64GB model and $849 for a 128GB model. The iPhone 6 Plus unlocked will cost $749 for a 16GB model, $849 for a 64GB model and $949 for a 128GB model.

Note: Apple’s website is currently experiencing issues, but orders are being processed via the App Store mobile app and, in the US, AT&T and Verizon’s websites.
