Apple’s iMac was number one with 32.9% of all-in-one sales in Q3 2011

Apple’s iMac netted 32.9% of the all-in-one computer market, giving the various models the largest share of the AIO market, reports Cnet.

The numbers come via a DisplaySearch report that was largely about HP, who came in third, with 21.4% of the market. Lenovo took a solid second with 22.7%. The overall AIO market for last year was estimated at 14.5M, with a potential growth to 23.3M units by 2014. That is a 39% increase from 2010.

Apple’s iMac offerings were expanded to offer a 27″ model in May of last year, a move that HP is aping with the release of the HP Omni at CES.

The all-in-one space isn’t the only one in which other manufacturers are looking to mimic some of Apple’s success. Manufacturers like Asus have already begun releasing ‘Ultrabooks’, thin and light notebooks designed to compete with the MacBook Air, and we expect to see many more of these show up at CES next week.
