When Apple announced the beautiful Hermès collaboration for its Watch last year, it left people who already owned the original timepiece out of the loop, since you couldn’t buy the straps on their own.
Now, Apple has revealed that it will be selling the Hermès bands separately, and has launched a new collection too.
The new collection has Single and Double Tour options that come in Fauve (tan), Feu (orange), Blanc (white), Bleu Paron (teal) and Bleu Saphir (navy blue). It is also possible to purchase the Hermès cuff that was a feature on the previously released Watch edition.
The Hermès bands will be available to buy online, from a selection of Apple stores and Hermès boutiques around the world from April 19. Prices will begin at $340 for the Single Tour (38mm and 42mm), $490 for the Double Tour (38mm only) and the cuff will cost a whopping $690.
So if your strap is looking a little bland and you have a couple hundred dollars going spare, maybe hold off until April 19 for a Hermès-style upgrade.
