Apple today announced new 13-inch and 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro models at its media event in San Francisco. The new machines cost $1,299 and $1,999, respectively, with both shipping today.
The 15-inch MacBook Pro is powered by a 4th-generation quad-core CPU, Geforce GT 750m graphics with 2GB of memory, and up to 8 hours of battery life.
The Retina MacBook Pro first arrived last June as a 15-inch model. Apple announced a 13-inch version at the iPad event last fall. Apple released a new MacBook Air earlier this year with all-day battery life and Intel’s latest Haswell chips.
