Apple and Samsung agree to talks to try to resolve their ongoing patent battle

judge-cropApple and Samsung have agreed to discuss their issues in a mediation session next month, to give their CEOs a chance to meet in person ahead of another round of patent battles in the courtroom.

Reuters reports that Apple CEO Tim Cook and Samsung CEO Oh-Hyun Kwon will meet before February 19, accompanied by their respective legal teams.

However, the companies have tried this approach before without much success, so there is no guarantee of any positive outcome.
