Apple is currently planning an event in March that is set to unveil the second generation Apple Watch. If you believe 9to5 Mac’s sources, it could also see the release of the iPhone 6c, with a 4 inch display.
Some Apple users have expressed a desire for a return of the smaller screen that first launched with the iPhone 5 and continued with the 5s. Currently, the iPhone 6 has a 4.7 inch screen while the iPhone 6s Plus features a 5.5 inch display.
The event would start a trend for Apple, as it’d make the second March event in a row. This marks a significant departure from the annual events that typically take place in Q4 of each year.
Outside of last year, Apple has had March events in the past, the last of which was in 2012 to announce the first iPad with a Retina display.
At last year’s March event we saw the release of the new 12 inch MacBook, ResearchKit for iPhone and the first Apple Watch.
