New Macbook Pro’s Released! 10 Hours Battery Baby.

The Apple Store has just gone live after a sustained period of downtime and now features a new line of Macbook Pros, all furnished with new Intel i5 and i7 processors except the 13-inch models which still has Core2Duo technology.

The Macbook Pros have also been been outfitted with more powerful NVIDIA graphic processors and power sources capable of sustaining up to ten hours of battery life.

The 13-inch models will have faster Intel Core Duo processors, 4GB RAM, 10 hours of battery life and an NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor. The graphics now boast 48 processing cores, making them a worthy addition for designers and gamers.

Available in two flavours, the 2.4GHz model with 250GB storage will be priced at £999 (inc VAT) and the 2.66GHz model with a 320GB hard drive will cost £1,249 (inc VAT).

Both the 15-inch and 17-inch models will be up to 50% faster than previous models by way of the new i5 and i7 chipsets. Hyper-threading technology will improve the data throughput and by optimising performance between the two processor cores, the system can be accelerated from 2.66GHz to 3.06GHz for intensive tasks and up to 3.33GHz for tasks utilising a single core.

Improved hardware and software on the devices will enable the 15-inch and 17-inch Macbook Pros to run for upto 9 hours on a single charge.
