The Unofficial Apple Weblog is reporting that Apple is adding two more retail stores to its expanding Canadian presence. Southern Ontario residents that are looking for additional locations to purchase and service their Apple products are bound to be pleased to have options coming soon that don’t involve a drive to the Greater Toronto area.

After taking a quick look at Apple’s Canadian site, there appears to be two job opportunity listings for new retail outlets in Waterloo and Burlington, Ontario.

The stores are slated to open in the Conestoga Mall in Waterloo and in Mapleview Centre in Burlington. No opening dates for either location are currently listed on the site.

Apple currently operates 19 retail stores in Canada, seven of which are in Ontario. The new locations are only the second and third in the province that are outside of the Greater Toronto area (Ottawa has a location), which could mean that other large cities in Ontario — such as Hamilton and London — may be prospective markets for future Apple retail stores sooner rather than later.
