Apple Music appears to be down for some users across the globe today. Subscribers are reporting problems with streaming songs and being asked to sign up for accounts, which they already have.
According to DownDetector, the problems began shortly before 9am EST.

Apple has yet to acknowledge the outage. We have contacted Apple for more information and will update this post when we hear back.
Update (16:00 GMT):
Apple has updated its system status page to acknowledge the issue and says it has now been resolved.
