The next iteration of Beats in-ear headphones may be totally wireless.
According to a report from 9to5Mac, incoming Beats headphones will be Bluetooth-only, and won’t even have a cable connecting them to one another. They’ll also charge wirelessly via a case, much like the Moto Hint.
These headphones are also said to be noise-cancelling, and a premium upgrade to the stock Earpods Apple bundles with iPhones.
This rumor also (again) suggests the iPhone 7 won’t have an audio jack, and will require headphones to use the Lightning port for a wired connection. Don’t worry, though; it seems the Earpods you get with your new iPhone will have a Lightning connection at the end.
