Apple has launched a new section of its iTunes App Store stocked with apps that take advantage of the new iPad’s Retina display. If you’ve snagged a new iPad and are waiting for it to come in, these are the apps that will show off its capabilities to the fullest.
The section is stocked with 24 different apps that have all been updated and re-submitted to Apple since the new iOS development kit was released two weeks ago. That is some hard work by these developers and it looks like their work has paid off with a special section of the App Store dedicated to these early risers.
There are some great apps on here, with Tweetbot, The Early Edition 2, NYTimes for iPad, Evernote and Infinity Blade 2 among some of the apps that are already installed on our tablets.
- Barefoot World Atlas
- Sky Gamblers: Air Support
- Tweetbot
- Flight Control Rocket
- Solar Walk
- Touchgrind BMX
- NYTimes for iPad
- Another Monster at the End of this Book
- Sketchbook Pro
