Apple has issued a second Supplemental Update for OS X Mountain Lion which fixes Keychain issues on 2012 Macs. Supplemental updates are small patches for system-affecting issues that Apple puts out in between major feature upgrade releases.
The issues that they solve are typically isolated ones that can affect issues that are irritating to users or have potential security risks and must be fixed on a faster time schedule than ‘the next release’.
The last supplemental update in October fixed a few issues including a security bug that allowed Safari to access secure sites even when parental controls were active and an edge case issue preventing systems with over 64GB of RAM from booting. The latest update can be downloaded and applied here.
