While I can do without ever seeing Drake’s cringeworthy dance moves in the Apple Music ad that began doing the rounds this week, I’ll probably rewatch the company’s new holiday-themed commercial a few more times before Christmas.
Titled ‘Frankie’s Holiday’, the ad sees Frankenstein, who lives up in the hills in a lone cabin, record a tune from a music box onto his iPhone.
Remembering his beloved partner, he hobbles to the Christmas tree at the town square and opens a package containing red and green lights that he can wear, as he leads the townspeople in a touching rendition of ‘(There’s No Place Like) Home for the Holidays’.
More like these, Apple – and less of Drake and his guilty pleasures in the gym, please.
