apple-event-customSeptember 9th will see Apple host another its press spectacles and up until now, plans for the event had been relatively scare. Today however, Apple Insider are reporting that Apple will be announcing new versions of the iPod nano and touch.

The new versions will join the iPhone with built in cameras, of what quality we’re not sure. Interestingly, the camera is supposedly only one part of the update, Apple are keeping a number of surprise features under wraps. We already know that iTunes 9 is likely to include a number of social networking features, whether the devices themselves will see similar integration, we’re not sure.

The much talked about iTablet is almost certain NOT to make an appearance, with most insider leaks indicating we won’t see the device make an appearance until 2010.
