Apple: 380 stores in 13 countries support 1 million visitors a day

Today at its iPhone event Apple announced that it has some 380 stores, coming to their 13th country this Friday, which support 1 million visitors a day. Apple stated that its store offer the ‘best experience’ on the planet.

In its presentation, the company highlighted a new location in Barcelona. That new store features locally-mined limestone. Apple was quite proud of that fact. Last year, Apple stores saw a total of 83 million visitors.

Apple’s retail locations are known for their exceptionally high revenue per employee, and their innovative design. In recent times, Microsoft has been working to emulate elements of Apple’s retail experience through a number of stores of its own.

Today, in just a few minutes, Apple is expected to unveil a new iPhone. Stay tuned. As it happens, TNW will bring it to you.
