A hot Branch is in progress now with some good Apple rumors about the next iPhone and iOS versions. You can see some chat between myself, John Gruber, Rene Ritchie, MG Siegler and more.
Gruber has laid out two tidbits he’s heard on his site here as well as in the Branch below: namely that iOS 7 will be a big refresh, and that it’s taking some time. Ritchie says that the refresh will likely give texture lovers fits, but should please those who aren’t fans. I’ve been hearing rumblings of Apple’s use of the Authentec acquisition it made last year, namely that it’s looking into using it for identification and (perhaps later) for payments.
