An iPhone app for tracking Canadian and international holidays

f you’ve ever missed an important holiday or have arrived at the bank only to find it’s closed for a civic holiday, the following app can help you get organized.

Canadian Holidays 2011-2014
will assist Canucks in remembering important dates from a variety of countries including Canada.  Canadian holidays such as civic, provincial and banking are all offered and alternatively, the app has an option to view the occasions in French as well.

The app provides and an easy solution for syncing holidays to your GoogleCalender and Outlook account. Aside from Canadian holidays, the app includes both religious and country-specific holidays including Australia, France and India to name a few.

After selecting a category such as Hindu Festivals, Jewish calender or Canadian public holidays, the app will allow you to deselect the dates you’re not interested in and will automatically sync with your Google account. Canadian Holidays will additionally integrate the dates with your iPhone’s calender and applications such as miCal, Calvetica, iCal Outlook and Exchange. Canadian Holidays 2011-2014 is available for the iPad and iPhone in Apple’s app store for $0.99.
