Amazon’s bringing its mobile games to iOS

Amazon’s bringing its mobile games to iOS

When Amazon Game Studios revealed its latest set of exclusive new mobile titles late last year, they were all restricted to Amazon hardware.

Now it’s decided – perhaps thanks to the relatively poor sales performance of the Fire phone – to bring four of them to iOS.

There’s no release date yet, but horror game ‘Lost Within’, sci-fi adventure ‘Tales from Deep Space’, haunted adventure title ‘ Til Morning’s Light’ and arcade puzzler ‘To-Fu Fury’ are all coming to iPhones and iPads.

Rather than going with the free-to-play model and bombarding you with opportunities to spend cash on in-app purchases, Amazon’s been making its mobile games a premium proposition, with most priced at around $6.99.

The company’s going to be be showing off the titles during the PAX East live stream at 1.30pm EST (6.30pm GMT) from today through Sunday, if you want to see them in action.
