Your Product Hunt submissions might now be influential enough to appear on Amazon Launchpad‘s featured list. In a new partnership, Amazon’s section for startup products will now curate a selection items that were “Featured on Product Hunt” so you can browse items upvoted by the community and see the conversations around the product.

Similarly, on Product Hunt’s item page, if an item is available for purchase through Amazon Launchpad, you’ll see an option from the drop down “Get It” menu to buy it.

Both considers this integration an important one because startup products can be dicey (hello, Kickstarter and Indiegogo) but it can be helpful to interact directly with the founders, who often come to Product Hunt to explain the product and answer questions. You can also read product reviews on Amazon, so there are multiple avenues of figuring out whether it’s the right buy.
