In the build up to the festive period, online retail giant Amazon had already announced the cut-off date for its free Super Saver shipping for those looking to procure some last-minute gifts.

While the original end-date had been set at December 16, this has now been extended by a further two days, which will see it end next Tuesday…December 18.

Amazon Prime members can still place orders up until 7pm (EST) on December 21 to receive their items in time for Christmas Day. The official cut-off dates for the various services are as follows:

Dec. 18: Free Super Saver Shipping
Dec. 19: Standard Shipping
Dec. 21: Two-Day Shipping (order up to 7pm (EST)
Dec. 22: One-Day Shipping (order up to 3pm (EST)
Dec. 24: Local Express Delivery (only available in some cities)
Dec. 25: Email and print-at-home Amazon Gift Cards…any time.
