Amazon Cloud Player for iOS is now supported in a number of BMW and Mini vehicles from 2011 onwards. The service gives users the ability to import their existing music library and access tracks bought or stored directly through Amazon, via services such as Amazon MP3 or AutoRip.

Drivers that own a vehicle with BMW Apps, or have the ‘Mini Connected‘ branding, will now be able to use their dashboard to access the music being streamed to their iPhone or iPod touch. Tracks will be played at 256kbps and users can change playlist tracks using the controls already integrated in the dashboard. With Amazon Cloud Player, users can import 250 songs for free, or pay $24.99 per year for up to 250,000 tracks.
