Amazon is bringing its all-new Kindle Paperwhite — which it unveiled in September last year — to India, where it will be available from February 4.
The US e-commerce giant is now taking pre-orders for the Kindle Paperwhite in India. The WiFi-only version is being sold for 10,999 rupees ($179), while the 3G model is retailing for 13,999 rupees ($228). In the US, the WiFi version goes for $119, while the 3G one goes for $189.
Just last year, Amazon took a big stride into India’s e-commerce market when it launched its Marketplace site in the country, and subsequently listed its Kindle tablets and e-readers for sale in June.
