Adblock Plus, the insanely popular annoying ad-blocking extension for Firefox and Chrome (and Android smartphones) will soon be available for more browsers, including Internet Explorer, Safari and Opera.
That’s the main take-away from the conversation I recently had with Till Faida, CEO of EYEO GmbH, the company behind the Adblock Plus project, at the – amazing – European Pirate Summit in Cologne, Germany.
As you can gather from the video interview, embedded below, the now 8 people behind the Adblock Plus project hope to have the add-ons for Safari, IE and Opera ready by the end of this year, although Faida makes no promises.
