About.me rolls out a new Compliment feature, and gets a redesigned dashboard

About.me, the service that lets you create a one-page website all about you and your interests, has announced a new Compliment feature, that sits alongside the ‘Favorite’, ‘Share’ and ‘Email’ options.

Compliment lets you tell someone that you love their page, the way it’s written or you love the background. It can also be used to let them know you’d like to collaborate.

About.me launched to the public in December 2010, and was swiftly acquired by AOL for what was thought to be around $1.3 million.

About.me made Favorites a public feature earlier this year, and to coincide with the launch of Compliment, the company is also rolling out a completely new dashboard (see image below), which lets you see your statistics (visits, clicks and links), Favorites and other activities on one page.
