Ever needed to look through an entire video quickly to find a specific scene or just see what it’s about?
It’s easy to do with video files stored on your computer, but clips on the Web stream while you watch and that makes seeking tricky.
That’s where Fast Forward, a Chrome extension from automaker Mini, comes in handy. Install it and hit the S key while watching a video, and you can blaze through clips in a fraction of the time – at roughly 8x the normal playback speed.
The extension works on YouTube, Facebook and Netflix. It’s useful for when you want to find a particular step in a recipe or a funny moment in an episode of your favorite show, and is much more intuitive than using your mouse.
