If you’re still hung up on the gloriously pixelated and crazy-fast-paced FPS games of the 90s, you’ll want to check out Strafe.
The debut title from fledgling studio Pixel Titans brings back everything you loved about classics like Doom, Heretic and Wolfenstein 3D – gratuitous gore included.
But it also has a wonderful live action trailer inspired by sci-fi movies from the 90s that does an excellent job of setting the stage for what Strafe has to offer – cheesy dialogue, campy special effects and bloodthirsty aliens. I won’t spoil the rest for you, but this is how you sell a game.
The trailer has actually been out for a while, but it’s worth a look today because Strafe is out today for PC, Mac and PS4. Find out more here.
