Kickstarter has no shortage of crappy ideas but this one might really take the cake.

Artist Matthew LaPenta just launched a campaign asking for $47,000 to complete poop emoji sculptures in several unique finishes, including copper, nickel, bronze and brass. These 3-inch wide by 2.8-inch tall sculptures will capture all the essence of the poop emoji for just $115 (at minimum). Or, you could just go all-in and grab a 12-inch version for a hefty $4,000 sum.

There’s no denying the popularity of emoji but you have to wonder whether your $115 would be better spent elsewhere. Then again, this is just the kind of campaign that could go gangbusters and fund the original ask many times over; what do I know?
