12-seconds-logoAfter the recent Facebook integration at the beginning of May, word coming from the 12seconds.tv blog is that 12seconds.tv will now allow you to send videos via @reply and DM’s on Twitter. The ‘Twitter for video’ startup also confirmed that 12seconds.tv also allows you to login to the site using your Twitter login credentials, Mashable has some visual examples of this in action.

These are two hugely important moves for the year old company, which is still run as a side project by three co-founders who are “funded by burritos”. I spoke briefly with David Speiser from StageTwoConsulting.com, who represents 12seconds.tv’s media coverage, he explained the beginnings of 12seconds.tv and what makes them different to competitors like Seesmic.
