Nokia N8 to launch in UK on October 22

Nokia N8 to launch in UK on October 22

Nokia has been dominating the spotlight recently, to an extent that many people have lost sight of when its newest smartphone, the Nokia N8 will actually go on sale. Handsets have reportedly started to make their way to those that pre-ordered the device but until now there was no definite date on when the Nokia N8 would go on sale, especially in the UK.

Today, Nokia has stated that the Nokia N8 will go on sale in the UK on October 22 and will be sold by  O2, Orange, Phones 4u, T-Mobile, Tesco, Virgin Mobile, Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone on tariffs upwards of £30.

For those that want to get it a week earlier and SIM-unlocked, customers can opt to buy it from Nokia’s online store for £429 and get the handset from October 15.

It’s been a long road to launch for the Nokia N8, we have been testing the device over the past couple of days and will be publishing our review soon, that is of course after we stop taking photos with the N8’s super 12MP camera.
