TV Hack Day, as the name suggests, follows in the footsteps of the likes of Music Hack Day and Photo Hack Day in giving teams of developers 48 hours to build fresh, innovative digital products. In this case, the event is all about building something new for the TV industry.
As it’s part of MIPCube in Cannes – a Mediterranean town that hardly suffers a shortage of luxury boats – it makes some kind of sense to hold the event on a yacht moored next to the event’s main venue. As you can see from the photo above – the developers taking part aren’t afraid to take advantage of the perks this affords.
