How to Draw & Paint is the latest addition to its digital arsenal, and each edition will come with interactive content that shows its readers how to use Photoshop to create digital artwork in a particular style.
The series kicks off with How to Draw & Paint Manga as its first issue, and features a gallery of well-known manga artists, whilst incorporating animated lessons on how to get to grips with the basics of the genre.
“We’ve taken a new approach to delivering tutorial content on iPad based on how digital artists use their tablets alongside their main computer,” says Tom Dennis, Digital Product Editor for Future’s Creative Group. “Our Group has mastered tutorial content, as magazines like Computer Arts and ImagineFX prove. The How to Draw and Paint series takes this tutorial process to the next level, not just by telling readers how to create a particular style or artwork, but by also walking them through the various stages with animations and dynamic content.”
How to Draw & Paint is available from the App Store now, and will set you back £4.99 for a 90-day subscription. Other topics in the series will include Anatomy, Gods & Monsters, Fantasy characters and Cartoons. Check out the promo video below.
