Ge.ttGe.tt, a file sharing service we first covered back in 2010, has been acquired by accounting software provider E-conomic. In a blog post, Ge.tt says that its service will continue to operate as before.

Similar to the likes of CloudApp and indeed some of Dropbox’s functionality, Copenhagen-based Ge.tt allows for fast sharing of documents and media files with others. The startup’s investors included Atomico, Skype founder Niklas Zennström’s investment firm. Co-founders Tobias Baunbæk and Mathias Buus Madsen say that they now look forward to  “backing from E-conomic’s team of developers and the great financial resources of E-conomic and HgCapital, the equity investor that has recently acquired e-conomic.”
