Travel recommendation service and social network Gogobot unveiled a new product today called Tribes that it believes will help users better figure out not only where to go but what to do when they arrive. It’s being billed as a “finely tuned intelligent travel search engine” that offers personalized suggestions to each user.
In order to better assess your tastes and preferences, Gogobot will ask you to define yourself among a set of categories, including adventure travelers, art and design lovers, backpackers, budget travelers, LGBT, local culture, students, and others.
When you break it down, it’s all about the personalized experience, which Gogobot will utilize to help you find activities, destinations, and other things you’re interested in. This update is available on the Web and on iOS.
