Online presentation platform SlideShare has announced Send Tracker, a new analytics tool which lets Pro account holders email content from their account to a potential customer and receive real-time alerts when the recipient has opened and clicked the message. This is accompanied by analytics to track how they interact with that content.
Founded in 2006, the San Francisco-based company is one of the Web’s most well-established presentation-hosting service, letting companies and individuals create presentations and embed them anywhere on the Web. LinkedIn acquired SlideShare for $119m last May.
While there is a basic free version, Silver, Gold and Platinum monthly subscription plans unlock additional features and remove restrictions.
Send Tracker is essentially aimed at sales and marketing folks, who will be able to concentrate their efforts on prospects who spent the most time, or engaged best, with content.
This includes how much time someone spent reviewing each slide of a presentation, making it possible to know which specific piece of content resonated most.
Send Tracker is available to check out now as a free trial, but is part of its paid-for Pro suite.
