Kony Solutions (perhaps not the best company name in the world) has secured $15 million in a Series C financing round led by Insight Venture Partners.
The company provides a mobile app development platform dubbed KonyOne, enabling companies to build enterprise and consumer-focused applications for a wide variety of operating systems and devices, and the mobile Web.
Just recently, Kony added HTML5 support to its platform and support for a host of new devices, including support for enterprise BYOD (‘bring your own device’) deployments.
The company says it plans to further expand its platform and off-the-shelf applications portfolio this quarter.
