Google Calendar now supports email addresses with accented, non-Latin characters

As promised, Google today added support for addresses that contain accented or non-Latin characters to Google Calendar. This means users can now invite friends or colleagues who have such email addresses.

Any Google Calendar action that requires an email address should now work regardless of what characters are used. This includes calendar invites as well as sharing calendars.
