After years of inching its way towards social media friendliness, Twitch finally made like Facebook today and got its own News Feed.

The company is rolling out a new feature today called Pulse. With this, you’ll see all the posts your favorite steamers add to their Channel Feeds, making it a central hub for all your Twitch news.

In addition to text updates, Twitch encourages streamers to post links, photos, videos, stream clips, and schedules.

Previously, keeping tabs on your favorite streamers meant checking other sources, like Twitter or Discord. Now you can get your news directly from the source.

Almost two years ago, Twitch introduced its own private chat system, “whispers.” This was its first step towards becoming more socially-oriented. Since, it’s added the aforementioned Channel Feed feature, and a “friend” system.

Pulse rolls out today for all logged-in users. You can find your news feed on the front page of the site. Twitch is also integrating it into the mobile app, meaning that you can post and receive updates on the go.

The feature is still in beta and Twitch encourages you to leave your feedback for them here.
