Bossa Studios wants to bring realtime multiplayer games to your social network

When you think of a social game, it’s likely that at least one Facebook-centric title will come to mind.

Farmville, Cityville and Mafia Wars, all popular titles from game developer Zynga, continue to dominate the charts but one company is aiming to change the social gaming market, focusing on making its titles genuinely multiplayer titles.

Launching today at The Next Web Conference Startup RallyBossa Studios, a London-based startup founded by four veterans with a passion for innovation in games. Tired with the lack of social in gaming, bored of the same games cropping up from different developers, Bossa Studis aims to make social gaming social again, implementing creative designs to bring positive and fun experiences by allowing people to play together in real-time.

By focusing on gamers that don’t typically play games on social networks, Bossa engages players with deeper stories and delivers an improved user experience that exceeds the social gaming space as it currently stands, ensuring players are happy to share the games they are playing on platforms including Facebook.

Bossa Studios hopes to deliver its first games in the coming months, rolling out to Facebook initially, followed by Orkut, iOS and Android platforms thereafter.
