Google Trips gets a big update to help you plan your next vacation

Google Trips gets a big update to help you plan your next vacation

Google has updated its excellent Trips mobile app for Android and iOS with a bunch of new features to make it easier to plan your next adventure on the road.

While it already grabs flight information from your Gmail inbox, Trips now captures bus and train tickets as well and adds them to your itinerary. And in case you make a last-minute booking offline, you can now tap the + button and enter those details manually to keep your schedule up-to-date.

Trips also now lets you share the reservations for your journey, including hotel booking and travel tickets, straight from the app via email. If your contacts use Trips, they’ll see the info in the app too.

The update makes Trips a lot more flexible to use. It’s great for not only keeping your booking info close at hand, but also to map your activities across your destinations offline.
