This is one of those occasions when the headline really does say it all.

Give Giftawk – a simple site making use of clever APIs – access to your microphone, say something and it’ll grab GIFs from Giphy that it thinks represent those words. It’s hilariously addictive:

It’s been bumping around the Web for a while – it popped up earlier this summer – but it crept back onto Twitter today. It was created by Etoxin using the Giphy and Webkit speech APIs.
