Ember updated with annotations and auto-import on iOS and blur and pixelate on Mac

Realmac Software has updated its Ember image collection app for iOS with annotation tools, including new blur and pixelate options, and an auto-import feature that grabs screenshots from the Camera Roll.

The update was first announced last week. Annotation is a $4.99 in-app purchase on iOS, while auto-import costs $0.99.

Blur and pixelate have also been added to Ember for Mac alongside with 50 additional features, such as hiding viewed images in subscriptions and library backup options.

Realmac founder Dan Counsell said in a statement that the latest iOS update is a big step in the team’s plan to make the mobile version of Ember as powerful as the desktop version.
