Onepager announces a new freemium model. Need a simple website? Look no further.

This past August, the New York City startup, Onepager launched its DIY website platform. Hailed as an “” for businesses, Onepager allows anyone to create and maintain visually appealing one-page websites. In just minutes, business owners can list their services, hours, and location, and add features such as Google Maps integration, social media accounts and a photo gallery to their new site.

In mid-October, Onepager announced $350,000 in a seed funding round led by New York angel investors Daniel Eskapa and Mark Birch. “With the web now the key medium by which businesses and organizations are discovered, the demand for a professional-looking website has never been higher,” said Birch, who also serves as an advisor for Onepager. “Onepager satisfies this demand without the need for extensive coding knowledge, saving small businesses time, stress, and money.” These new funds have been used to further develop Onepager’s product and expand the New York-based company’s marketing efforts.

Today, the team has added a slew of new features, two that are particularly useful. First, the “Around the Web” dashboard helps business owners better manage their Internet presence across sites such as Yelp, Twitter, and Foursquare pages. Second, Onepager now lets businesses embed video and audio files from sources such as YouTube, Vimeo and Grooveshark.

Previously, Onepager cost $10/month after a 14-day free trial. Today, Onepager announced that it’s lifted the expiration policy of 14 days so that users can use many of Onepager’s features at no cost. Paid users gain the benefit of being able to use a custom domain and access to a dashboard, where users may access their visitor analytics, newsletter functionality, and Around the Web.

Onepager also allows you run email newsletter campaigns. Customers can easily sign up for a newsletter through your Onepager site by entering their address. Then, you can send a newsletter to all of your subscribers directly through Onepager.

For SEO dorks out there, you’ll be happy to know that the Onepager platform is setup to automatically optimize your company’s website for search engines like Google, Yahoo!, and Bing. They’ve also gone a step further and implemented some cutting-edge Search Engine Optimization (SEO) enhancements, including usage of the new markup, which is a joint venture between, Bing, Google, and Yahoo!
