Did you know you can play Snake on YouTube while watching videos? Hold left.

We’ve just been informed (thanks to this video tip) that you can actually play Snake while watching YouTube videos.

How? Well, visit any video, hit pause and hold the left arrow button. It’s not the most visually appealing version of Snake we’ve seen but lets not forget this is Google we’re talking about.

So next time your watching yet another lengthy family YouTube video of your neice/nephew doing something only his parents would find remotely interesting, a quick game of Snake might be in order.

Update:

This trick only works in YouTube’s new player, which is only available for videos that don’t include annotations or ads. It’s limited to the videos played on YouTube’s site and it doesn’t work for embedded videos. Here’s an example of video you can use to play Snake.
