With the 500 million mark quickly approaching, Facebook understands that it’s a very big world out there. According to the Facebook Developers blog, there are some hefty changes happening to the Facebook Insights dashboard to help you deal with that.
The recently-launched dashboard gives you some great information when it comes to your integration with websites, applications and Facebook pages. As for the upgrades? Here’s what we’re looking at:
- More data
- New visualization tools
- Demographics visualization
- Sharing metrics
The goal is simple – whether you’re a developer, domain admin or the admin for a Facebook page, the more you know about your visitors the better you can advertise to them. The dashboard improvements should help to clear some of the confusion surrounding sharing and share sources, as well as allow you to better tailor your readers’ experience.
