Apple is now letting customers use its iPhone Upgrade Program online

If you’re tired of paying a monthly fee to your carrier for an iPhone, Apple has your back. You can now take advantage of the iPhone Upgrade Program online.

On launch, the upgrade program asked that you purchase a phone in person at an Apple Store. It lets you pay a flat monthly fee, and upgrade your device annually.

You can now do it online for any iPhone model, and upgrade pricing comes with AppleCare+. It doesn’t work for all iPhones, though; SIM-free and phones for T-Mobile still require you pay in full.

But if you know you want to stay with iOS, it’s a handy way to simply pay as you go. If you don’t want AppleCare+ or automatic upgrades, the installment plan is also available.
