Steve Jobs weighs in on the new AT&T data plans.

You might have heard by now that AT&T has decided to do away with the old structure of data plans, opting instead for cheaper, but more limited options.

Of course, since then, Twitter and the rest of the Internet has been a bit up in arms.  There have been calls off mass exodus, and one of TNW’s own writers even suggested that Apple should offer no-charge returns of iPad 3g models.

One AT&T customer, Mark Trapp, has emailed Jobs and laid out his concerns.  In recently-typical Jobs style, the email was replied to, with a simple statement:

“I think its going to work out just fine for almost all customers. Try it.”
